Every year for Fifty/Ninety I make a point of making sure that I have at least one track whose title starts with every letter of the alphabet. By the time I got to V, I was looking stuff up in the dictionary for inspiration.

Variorum, n.: a work of textual criticism, whereby all variations and emendations are set side by side so that a reader can track how textual decisions have been made.

Who are they trying to deceive?
It's hard to know who to believe

Not every comment is consistent
Not every protest is an act
Just because an idea is persistent
I'm not obliged to take the thing as fact
You're going to need to give me proof
that what you're saying is the truth
