My final track for this summer's Saturday Single challenge is a song in praise of the humble coffee bean.

Whenever I buy coffee, they always ask my name
But what they write upon the cup is never quite the same
I understand they want me to enjoy my cup of joe
But I just want to be myself and pay for it, and go

They've just called me Hister and I don't know what it means
I just want my coffee 'cos it makes me full of beans

Whenever I buy coffee, the way I choose my roast
is I simply pick the one that's going to make me buzz the most
They try to sell me flavourings to get it tasting nice
But I won't drink my latte if it reeks of pumpkin spice

They've just called me Archibald, I feel that this demeans
I just want my coffee 'cos it makes me full of beans

Whenever I buy coffee, I simply want a cup
I do not want the staff to have a go at selling up
I do not want a pastry; I do not want a cake
The only thing that interests is the coffee that they make

They've just called me number six, I feel like a machine

Whenever I buy coffee, there's a question that I ask:
Is your corporation paying its fair share of tax?
I won't go near a Starbucks, and Caffe Nero's out
I'll pick an independent if there's one of them about

They've just called me Tristan, which I'm not by any means
