It's COP26 this week.

Though you ignore it
it hasn't gone away
it sweeps all before it
and now we have to pay

I know you'd like things to stay
exactly how they are
But it was too late yesterday
and we're pushing things too far

Come rain or shine
we're in this together
we don't have time
and we're under the weather

The science has been verified
it's much worse than it looks
and if you're not terrified,
we're not reading the same books

There are still those around
who say it's not that bad
but their logic is unsound
because it's based on keeping what they had
