For this track I set about emulating two of my childhood heroes: Michael Flanders and Donald Swann, even down to the different timbres of their voices. You can be the judge of whether I got their characters or not.

Tinkling the ivories:
the only way to go!

The next time that you travel
on a London omnibus
your schedule will unravel
no matter how you fuss
It's all too much to bear
if you haven't got a seat
but a different option's there
and you'll find it hard to beat!

Instead of one ignition key,
you'll find you've eighty-eight
You're always where you need to be
so you can't turn up late!
Performance can't be bettered
it goes where it is bid
but don't park the thing unfettered;
make sure to lock the lid

You'll get more miles per minim than all others on the road
And another big advantage is pianos don't explode!

All that I am saying
is to book a test drive soon
'cos Neil Armstrong's playing
helped him land upon the Moon
You might not be expecting
to become a superstar
But I'm sure you are detecting
your piano will go far
