Parity Violation

from Spontaneous Grand Pianos by Chris Harris

/

about

The weak interaction, one of the fundamental forces of subatomic physics, doesn't behave in the same way as the others (strong interactions, electromagnetism, and gravity). Reality is left-handed.

Physicists *really like* symmetry. When something breaks that symmetry, as parity violation does, they tend to get (a) upset, and (b) REALLY interested.

Another classic Mellotron line here, again from the Arturia V-Collection.

about

Chris Harris Bristol, UK

I'm still trying to get the music I record to sound like the version I can hear in my head. To do this I've ended up playing every instrument I can get my hands on. These days, I'm closer to "That Sound" than I used to be, but the journey continues.
