If one piece of equipment could be said to have shaped the sound of this album, it would have be the Eventide H90 Harmonizer. What an amazing piece of kit it is.

One neglected habit which came into play here was definitely me playing fretless bass; it's the first time I've touched my Ibanez Blazer (extensively modified by Roger Giffin, no less) in about a year.
