Three tracks into the experiment, and I was beginning to understand how full-on randomness could be too much, so I made far more use of Ableton's MIDI filters to constrain timings and melodic content. Even though this sounds far more coherent, it's only the guitars that are being played in a traditional fashion. And the title comes from the discoveryt that I could add swing to a random drum pattern. How cool is that?

Someone commented to me that this has a vaguely Pink Floyd vibe to it. I'll take that. I'll most definitely take that.
