A song about the moment when you realise that the thing you swore you'd never do again is the thing that you're doing again, right now.

I'll wake up tomorrow
and it will not take me long
to realise I'm making the same errors
that today turned out so wrong

Why is it I seem to never
learn from my mistakes?
A flaw inside my character,
or have I simply not got what it takes?

I'm at the point I know what happens rather well
Can't find the way out of this strange, recursive hell

They say the biggest hurdle is deciding to begin
That's not the problem that I've got
I can't determine if the loop I'm in
is one that's infinite or not

Personal development
has long gone by the board
but simple repetition is a luxury
that I cannot afford

I realise
that it is novelty I seek
But when I contemplate achieving it
it leaves me feeling weak...
