about

So this is where things start to get interesting. 5/4 is a hard time signature to get to swing, but I did my best here. That involved getting down and dirty programming Arturia's mighty 'Pigments' synthesizer to play sequences in five time that were complemented by an arrangement for a string quintet (Spitfire Audio's BBC Symphony Orchestra VST doing the heavy lifting) and the result was further embellished by adding tubular bells (of course) with my trusty Korg M3..

And then I soloed the heck over the top of everything on my Ibanez RG770.

about

Chris Harris Bristol, UK

I'm still trying to get the music I record to sound like the version I can hear in my head. To do this I've ended up playing every instrument I can get my hands on. These days, I'm closer to "That Sound" than I used to be, but the journey continues.
