By now you may have twigged that the first half of this album is chiefly concerned with transportation.

And as it's 2021 I couldn't resist adding something to do with supply chain issues. I initially ordered a MOTU M4 interface for the studio back in May, but I didn't get to install it until October...

Bought some new gear
way back in May
I've yet to hear
it's on its way

Sitting on the starting line,
hasn't left the gate,
Still on the blocks
my shipment's running late

My hopes will fade again
though they keep coming back
Order delayed again
Supply chain's out of whack

Short and sweet
but no surprise
Transaction incomplete
Cannot acquire supplies

No-one making headway
Chips in short supply
So now it's due on Friday
But that might be a lie...
