Back in the 18th century, in the days when the two main political parties in the UK were the Whigs and the Tories, members of Parliament and other notables used to take great delight in making personal attacks on each other's character by compiling alternative indexes to books which their intended victim had written.

That's considerably more hardcore than posting snarky comments 140 characters long on Twitter, and I thought it needed to be commemorated in music.
