There comes a point when you just have to walk away from all the sniping, the bias, the political meddling, and the distortion of truth. To reject the tumult of frenetic noise that is directed at us twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. To ignore the banal events that are flagged as "breaking news" in an attempt to sieze our overtaxed attention. To turn off the TV news, and go and do something positive with your life instead.
