The more outragous the claim, the more mouse clicks it gets. If there's no news story worth reporting, just make something up—a practice, when pushed to its logical conclusion, that seems to have resulted in the President of the United States of America appearing on television in the early stages of the pandemic, claiming that bleach cured Covid-19...
