As you may have figured out from the cover, this is a companion album to its predecessor, Continuous Fiction. Where CF covered the news media, this album examines the film industry. It chronicles the process of getting a movie made from its initial inception through to its eventual release, a process that does not always run smoothly and which can become stalled for years (in Development Hell) before the green light is finally illuminated. But when the go-ahead is given, the fascinating machinery of film making fires up its engines, and off we go...

The music here is intended to evoke the experience of listening to a big-budget cinematic experience. Given that it was all put together in my bedroom studio, there were significant challenges in achieving that intent. But if I've done this well enough (and I'm going to blow my own trumpet for once and claim that I've done exactly that), you shouldn't notice.

Grab some popcorn and an overpriced fizzy drink, folks. You're about to go on a journey.
