This track was constructed around a field recording I'd made of the dawn chorus a few years ago. But after time stretching and pitch shifting it in PaulXStretch, it no longer sounded anything like the dawn chorus, so I used Heavyocity's "Natural Forces" VST plugin to create an artificial one. And if that isn't a profound commentary on the convoluted nature of my artistic process, I don't know what is.
