(Philip K Dick, 1977)

PKD's harrowing and heartbreaking account of addiction is a masterpiece. The film of the novel, which stars Keanu Reeves, is a mind-bending experience all by itself and well worth checking out.

For this piece, I wanted to mirror the experience of the protagonist, Bob Arctor, as his life as a government agent gradually slides off the rails into chaos and unreality. Letting my eBow *really* dig in to the guitars I was using achieved that without any trouble at all.
