To find more about the ways our minds work against us, look no further than the excellent "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman. Dr Kahneman won a Nobel Prize for his work in this field, so he knows what he's writing about.

We like to think we're special

Bias is more dangerous
